Baptism on Fathers Day

What a better day to be baptised then on Fathers Day!Steve Price, Joshua holding Zoey, Ryan holds Abigail, Alison holding Katrina, and Catherine Price.
God Parents Steve and Melinda try to juggle all three!
Godparents Troy and Jenean also juggle three!
Poppy (Ryans Dad) jumps at the opportunity to hold Zoey.
Here we are all together.... Steve and Melinda, Troy and Jenean, Josh, Ryan, Alison and Cindy.

As you can see, it had been a long morning for the girls and a melt down was inevitable!

Goodbye My Trusted Friend

Today marks a very sad period in time for us.Our dear dog Muffin went to be with Jesus today. We have no doubt Grandma Dolly was there to greet her with a big piece of cheese.
Muffin was there for me on many mountainous occasions.
Earlier today Ryan stated “she was my excuse to get you out of the house for a walk at Island Park so I could ask you to marry me”
“she sat by your side while you rested on the couch for those long months while pregnant”
So many memories – so little space.

She always liked to catch a ride with the girls.

Two songs play over and over in my head today....
I’ll give you two powerful sections, the full songs will be below if you’re not familiar with them.

This first one from Avalon:
For as long as I shall liveI will testify to love
I'll be a witness in the silences when words are not enough
With every breath I take I will give thanks to God above
For as long as I shall liveI will testify to love

The second song from Terry Jacks

Goodbye my friend it s hard to die
When all the birds are singing In the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I ll be there
We had joy we had fun we had
Seasons in the sun
But the hills that we climbed were
Testify To Love
All the colors of the rainbow
All of voices of the wind
Every dream that reaches out
That reaches out to find where love begins
Every word of every story
Every star in every sky
Every corner of creation lives to testify
For as long as I shall liveI will testify to love
I'll be a witness in the silences when words are not enough
With every breath I take I will give thanks to God above
For as long as I shall liveI will testify to love
From the mountains to the valleys
From the rivers to the seaEvery hand that reaches out
Every hand that reaches out to offer peace
Every simple act of mercyEvery step to kingdom come
All the Hope in every heart will, speak what love has done
O-Oh Ohhh

Pinchers with PopPop

The girls had a date with Pop Pop at a local Seafood restaurant called Pinchers.
Abigail is the first to capture Poppops attention
Zoey carries on with Aunt Nancy
Katrina does a jig for Aunt Vicky
Zoey often looks down the end of her nose. Everyone always chuckles - hopefully it's just a phase!
As if there isn't enough *&%$ on the ceiling to keep their attention... we bring out the toys to keep them entertained while waiting for dinner.
Babies continue to get passed around the table - Ryan has a little chat with Kit Kat about proper behavior at the table
Seems she wanted to stand and clogg.
When that didn't fly we tried pole dancing...Chew on Aunt Nancys fingers...
Pull Zoeys hair
Go for the bling (they all do that!)
Look absolutely adorable and innocent!
Pass out exhausted!
Meanwhile, Abigail chatters on with Aunt Cindy
Zoey passes out in Vicky's arms
Abigail decides to join Zoey for some ZZZZZ's
Zoey is sooo precious in Vicky's armsAfter her 'z' nap, she has a chat with Poppop.
Everyone passing by can't help but notice three little angels
In case you're wondering - they really are little angels and well behaved in the restaurants. (we can only pray this continues!)

Adopting Cousins-The Reugers

The Reugers stopped in for a visit to drop off a really cute "3 peas in a pod" musical toy for the girls. It plays "You Are My Sunshine"
One can never have enough family.
Christine, the beautiful young lady to the left holding Zoey was once in a sign language class I facilitated. Her mom Beth (in the middle holding Abigail) brought her for their weekly girls night out. We bonded over the months we practiced ASL. Her younger sister Lisa(to the right holding Katrina) even came to class once.
They also have an older sister Sara who wasn't able to come visit...
Christine is holding Katrina - who adorns the green bow that was on their package.
Turns out Beth is the only one on her side of the family that had children, and their dad is an only child... so these beautiful young teenagers are left 1st cousinless!!
Ryan talked it over with Zoey - how would you like 3 more cousins? One is even a red head - they'll fit right in!
Zoey gave the good news to Beth, we'd love to have 3 more beautiful teenage girl cousins!
And so... our family is growing...
Aren't we just the luckiest people alive!
I think everyone likes this idea!

We look forward to visiting with our new cousins in Georgia when we travel through later this summer! Love you guys! Pssst.... don't forget to tell your sister!

Chillin' with Cousins

Cousins Avery and Wyatt came over on June 10 to hang out and swim.
Kit Kat wanted in on the action -Abigail just wanted to chill by the spa - Ever since she started on baby food, her tongue is always out.
Avery wanted to show she can do it too!
Zoey was exhausted and took a "z" nap in her bumbo while Nana spoiled Abigail. Brad and Kim sit back and relax - as you can see, the sign behind them says "No WAKE Zone"
We were hoping to have some horses meet us at the back fence.
Wyatt and mommy call - but they are too interested in the hay in the back pasture.
Back at the lanai, Ryan and Nana entertain Abby and Kat. What a fun day!
