The Return of Flipper

Zoey was the first to do flipper. If you have the volume up, you can actually hear her squeal just like flipper in the first part of the video. Sorry it's sideways - I thought I'd be able to flip once finished .... o well! Zoey does this move so well Ryan often lets her show off when we go out.

This was Abigails second try at flipper. Not bad!

This was Katrina's very first time doing flipper - she did awesome. We're so thrilled the girls love the water. They sleep sooo much better at night after 30 minutes in the pool.

Abigail Morgan - the first one to scoot around.

Katrina Dee - doesn't get up on all four like Abby - but she scoots a lot faster!

Donna and Kelly

One evening a week Donna and Kelly come to hang with the girls. Kelly wanted practice handling babies in the hopes of becoming pregnant.
Katrina, Zoey and Abigail sit in their bumbos with their new hats happy to announce Kelly is pregnant and due in March.
Abigail decided to grab a handful of Donna's hair to get her ready to be a grandma!
Zoey thought that was hysterical - Kat wasn't so sure
Wonder what they'll get into this week!

Speak of Hats

Getting ready to go in the pool, Ryan slipped these on the girls.

Abigail

Katrina
Zoey
Zoey likes to show off the whole outfit... we were hoping to get one more holiday out of these adorable dresses. If you look at the next photo, you'll see these aren't hats, but pants!
Their daddy is sooo silly! The really do look cute as hats!

New Hats!

When the Goodbars came to visit, they brought adorable hats for the girls.
Zoey
Abigail
Katrina
Based on expressions, I'd say the girls really like them.
Thank you soooo much for your thoughtfulness! How they knew the girls loved hats so much is news to us... though... I do remember a certain hat Heidi once had that she was quite protective of - how cool is this!

Ft. Desoto Park

Not to be confused with Fort Desoto... There is actually a park here in Bradenton next to a county park all of 23 acres! The girls donned their baby banz and off we went for a hike. It was hot... but well worth the trip.
Pathways brought you out to a secluded beach NICE!
So many times jet skiing over the last few years we saw a HUGE cross on the shore line. We never knew what it belonged to. Trying to find the cross on land is how we found this park. Turns out the Catholic Church still ownes the small plot of land the cross stands erected on. They donated the rest of the land to the county. Will be wonderful when the weather breaks and... when the girls get older, a secluded beach few people know about... what a find!

Labor Day weekend 2009

The Sunday before Labor Day we went to a picnic at Aunt Nancy's. Madison read to Zoey out back on the swing.
Aunt Jean and Abigail watched and listened.
Zoey later went inside to check the computer out.
Katrina gives Madison a squeeze.
After swimming and getting jammies on... the girls played with the dogs.
We were amazed at how well they got along with all the dogs.

Bedtime Stories Movie Night

August 28th we had every intention to go to opening night for HS football. Well, it poured all day long so mid-afternoon we decided to make it movie night instead.
The Bryant and Paolercio families joined us.
Zoey liked to chill with Wyatt, while Ella and Abby cuddled.

Kyle decided to join in and see what it was like to hold Katrina.
Ready for another one or two Bryant family? You all look mighty happy.
Abby practices her ballarina moves.
My BFF Ella gets a squeeze before heading home.

Florida Aquarium

August 21 we set off on an adventure.
The girls were invited to join some other friends in Tampa to play at the aquarium.
It was our first distance trip by ourselves. Once we got there, the girls loaded up in the hummer and were ready to explore.
There was a really cool snake exibit... even Laura petted the snake with her son Wyatt and his friend Cooper.
Wyatt's little brother Kyle gave the snake a squeeze too.
After all the exibits - we found ourselves in the waterpark behind the museum.
Laura enjoyed taking each of the girls in the water to get their feet wet and cool off while I stayed with two in the shade. What a fun day - we plan to get a family pass here soon!

Zoey chillaxin

Zoey always makes relaxing look so good.
Who sits in a swing and makes it look comfortable. She looks like she's inviting us to sit and have a conversation.
Or how she makes a comfy kids chair look inviting.
She loves to just sit and chill - you'll have to join her next time you come to visit. I'm sure she'll be inviting you to a tea party before long!

Goodbar Times!

Cathy and Jim Goodbar came to visit with the triplets... Mainly to get to know Zoey.
Zoey's shares the same middle name as their daughter Heidi.
I posted about Heidi and how special she was to me back when the girls were first born and named.
Zoey admires Cathy - she knows how special she is.
They had a wonderful time getting to know one another.
Zoey hopes to see them again soon - she really enjoyed sharing the Goodbars with her sisters.
There will be another post on the gifts they brought the girls in a few days.

Zak and Kim

Zak and Kim came for a few days so we could FINALLY get our taxes done.
Abby looks like she's making Zak a special delivery.
Zak did a good job holding bottles. Guess all the quarterback practice at LWR is paying off! No fumbles here!
The girls looooved being the pool!
Zak didn't seem to mind being surrounded by beautiful women! Even Kim showed she could handle multi-tasking... what a great couple of days!
Thanks guys for helping us get caught up.... now onto the other list ....
