Her sister Nancy altered them so they'd fit... how cute is this...
Keeping up with email updates on the girls is getting harder and harder. We figured this would be a great way for you to check in at your leisure and see what's going on and post your comments.

Daddy and His Girls
We recently had professional photos done of the girls.
However, when we got home, we realized there wasn't one photo taken of Ryan and his girls.
Every other concieveable shot was taken but that one!
So, Ryan's Aunt's came over and we got some shots done.
Then there is baby Kat... isn't this just precious!

Here is Ryan holding Zoey.
This shot of Abigail is my favorite - it is so funny!
She looks like she's ready to take on the world...
Ryan looks as if she's about to mess on him!
Here they are in order:
Zoey, Abigail and Katrina....
We tried... but catastrophe struck... or should we say KAT struck...
all over the back of the couch... that ended this segment of the session!
This is what happens when you have 3 naked babies.
Aren't their poses were just hysterical!

A Visit to Meghans New House
The girls Nana had her 65th Birthday party at Meghans on Monday.
It was our first trip to her new house!
Baby Kat greets Nana with a Happy Birthday!
Aunt Kim and Uncle Brad take a trip down memory lane holding the babies.
Brad has Katrina - Kim is surrounded by Abby and Zoey.
Madison hunted high and low to find a shirt from one of her dolls that would fit Zoey.
She knew Zoey was the smallest and was SURE something would fit.
Persistence paid off...
Here she holds Zoey in a High School Musical shirt - she quickly put her HS Musical dress back on to match her cousin.
How cool is that?!

Life's a Beach!
Katrina shouts a big YA HOO!
as we take our first adventure out to Holmes Beach this past Saturday 3/21/09.
We want the girls to be adventurous - slowly breaking them in with short trips in the car.

We got the perfect parking spot -
we could see the beach and the sunset from the van.

After Ryan and I enjoyed our take out Boston Market - we fed each of the girls.
Baby Kat needed a diaper change as soon as she was finished - she decided to chill w/daddy.
She is trying to let him know how much she is enjoying the adventure.
We learned it was important to remember pillows to prop the girls.
I can manage two - but it would have been a little easier with pillows.
Zoey is doing her Vanna impression of "here is the sun setting"
A woman passing by saw the one baby - then two and said "oh! twins!" we said no...

triplets....
She insisted on letting her take a photo of us at sunset.
So we scooped the girls up for a quick shot outside the comfort of the van.
This event was a lot of fun - all wore out - the girls slept all the way home.
Great Aunt Elsie Comes Calling
We got a surprise visit from Aunt Elsie.
She was on her way to see her sister when she dropped in to deliver the girls quilts.
She hadn't seen the girls yet - here she is holding Zoey.
Abigail LOVES her quilt - as you see here she is just in awe of it's beauty.

Surprise Visit from Sister Charly
Charlotte called Thursday a.m.
When I saw her name on caller I.D.
I naturally was concerned of why she was calling at 8 a.m.!
Surprise! She had gotten a ticket to come down and would be arriving on Friday a.m.
WOW! I couldn't help but cry - what a nice surprise! We hadn't seen Charlotte since her birthday last May when we flew up to NJ and went white water rafting in PA for her birthday. Charly hadn't been to see us in FL since we were married back in July 2007.
Charlotte opened her first restaurant last fall in Martinsburg WV and this is the first vacation she's taken. She couldn't wait to get her hands on her little sissy's. It's been a treat having her here - she's made us breakfast each morning. We are thrilled to know she wanted to come and the girls seem to love all the extra attention too.
For those of you who aren't clear on who Charly is - she is my step daughter from my previous marriage. We've been part of each others lives for so long that a divorce wasn't going to change our relationship. I'm still her step-mom and she's still my daughter... red head and all! We gave her the option of what position she wanted to play in the girls lives - she said she had ALWAYS wanted "a" baby sister - that having three was the coolest! We couldn't agree more.
Keepsakes
We're amazed at how quickly we're filling them up.
They were able to keep their bloodpressure cuffs and eye protection from their stay in the NICU. We have a sample of how small their diapers were, their first roses - from their poppy. The beanie bear from the nurses on Valentines day, their umbilical cord stumps, first photo etc.
Thanks Aunt Jean for their beautiful boxes to hold all their treasures. I'm sure there will be future posts when they're older of their reaction to what's inside.

Blessings from GiGi
Ryan's Nana Mary Fichter made these beautiful hankerchief hats for the girls just before she passed. She is known as "Gigi" to all the great grandchildren.
Aunt Jean was in Hong Kong and had picked up 3 unique hankerchiefs for Nana to complete this project.
Unfortunately, she had them stitched, but the letters that go with them hadn't been done yet.
Thankfully, Aunt Nancy had it on her computer to finish the project.
We plan to have the girls wear them when they are baptised later this year. They'll go perfectly with the outfits we have purchased for the event.
Then they'll be put in their keepsake boxes for when they are married.
If you can't read the letter it says:
I'm just a little hankerchief
Quite square as you can see
But with a stitch or two they make a bonnet out of me.
Quite square as you can see
But with a stitch or two they make a bonnet out of me.
I'll be worn from the hospital - or on my christening day
Then neatly pressed and folded
I'll be carefully packed away
Then neatly pressed and folded
I'll be carefully packed away
On her wedding day a bride must have
Traditionally, something old...
Good Luck, good health, good happiness
It brings her, so it's told
Traditionally, something old...
Good Luck, good health, good happiness
It brings her, so it's told
Then what could be more pleasant
Then to unpack little me....
To snip a little stitch or two and find
her hankerchief I'll be.
Much love,
Nana and Pop Pop
Our First Pair of Chucks - ie: Converse Allstars
Joshua's girlfriend Grace took time out from her studies to hand stitch the girls names on their very first pair of sneakers.

The photo is dark - the photo above shows Katrina smiling at her pair.
Once the girls grow into these - Josh and Grace will have to have photos taken of all of them together. Josh and Grace both wear this style of sneaker.
