Memorial Weekend - Saturday

I know I know - it's been too long since we've posted... Hope to catch you up with the long weekend events.... Zoey found a dolphin at Weeki Wachi Springs. We drove up Saturday early to spend the day at the park then head over to see family.
All the girls decided to pile on. Zoey leads the pack, Abby is in the middle and Katrina is doing her normal chill on mommy. We did get to see part of a mermaid show before the girls melted down in need of a nap. We decided since we have a State Park pass to exit and come again another day. The drive over to Beverly Hills to see cousin Roger and Aunt Elsie would give them time to nap.
The girls loved Rogers big comfy chairs in the back room - they spun around and around til they were dizzy. The girls remained entertained chasing around their babies that daddy stuffed in the backs of their pants.

Surprisingly by the end of the evening, the girls actually let cousin Roger near them. Abby to the left, Kat in the middle and Zoey on mommies lap. I think that grin was permanent on Aunt Elsie - she had as much fun as the girls. Thanks for hosting us!

Easter has arrived in style

After getting home from the Egg hunt, Nana stopped by and dropped off their baskets.
As soon as Zoey awoke from her nap - she got all jazzed up.
Bunnies began multiplying!
One of my favorite photos with the girls -
Abigail heard about Easter coming - she's getting excited!
Zoey takes a peek - yup! Easter has arrived! Time for church!!
All decked out in our Easter dresses, we ride for the FIRST TIME forward facing, in new car seats in the 1969 cadillac convertible daddy bought for his girls - All firsts - we're soo excited!
After church, daddy put the top down - wow - this is sooo cool! Where's Nana?! O yeah ! She's gonna meet us for brunch yeah!
Zoey's ready for a nap - but she'll take a binky for now so she can enjoy the wind in her hair.
Abby chills with her binky in the middle seat.
Katrina is saying my glasses are cool, but they don't matching my dress
Let the eating continue! We went to dinner with Uncle Paul and Aunt Judy and big brother later in the day too - munch munch munch - we're gettin' sooo big!
Zoey thinks Uncle Paul is soo silly!
Daddy can you rock me?
Abby has let her hair down - it's been a long day and I'm ready to relax!

This is a great ending to a perfect weekend! Thank you to all the family that shared time with us! We had a blast!

Hunting Easter Eggs

All decked out in their Aunt Nancy Fashions the girls headed to church in search of eggs.
Zoey studies her treasure map of egg colors.
Abigail has hers memorized - let's get on with it already!
Katrina is bored - what's the hold up? Let's get the show on the road already, I see eggs that need sorting.
OMGosh! I found eggs! I found eggs! Pockets! fill my pockets! Where's my basket?! - Zoey is sooo excited!
Abigail shares a quiet moment with daddy.
Katrina could spend all day on the lawn admiring her collection. Sorting and resorting.
Josh sits with his sisters for a photo - this one ended up in the local paper.
Josh looks content to just hang with the girls - cousin Madison is directing Zoey to more eggs.
Zoey is explaining to Uncle Paul all about the eggs - he listens intently.
Madison decides to take Abigail out for a stroll - the eggs seem to have been all gathered - now it's time for more fun.
Yes! cousin Madison has found more fun out back - face painting - she looks gorgeous in her Aunt Nancy fashion.
We were amazed no one screamed getting their photo with the bunny - who is in that suit anyway??
Abigail is happy and is ready to roll on home - what a fun morning!
Katrina figures she can put their baskets to good use as hats.
Abigail decides to try one out for size too!
Zoey thinks they're soo silly - soo happy!
If you can't beat 'em - join 'em!

Sliding into Sunset

We often walk along Bradenton Beach past this playground area. We figured it was time to let the squirrels loose to see if they wanted to play. It wasn't long before Ryan and I wanted to play too!I had taken Abigail and Kat down, Ryan figured it was time to take mini me (aka: RJ aka: Zoey) down for a ride.
We had to wrestle them for a group shot and tackle them to get them back into the stroller for the mile walk back to the car.
A little chilly as the sun went down - still a gorgeous night with our awesome squirrels - wish the tree was here to join us.

Videos on the Move

Abby and Kat enjoy a ride on their airplanes.

We were laughing watching Zoey rearranging & organize, then rearrange again. Decisions, decisions - you can almost see her gears working.

Josh getting in a work out pulling the girls around the driveway. They would follow him anywhere!

Visiting Uncle Tom and Aunt Joanne

My Aunt and Uncle winter in Naples every year. We met them down in Ft. Meyers so they could meet the girls.
I can really see a lot of my dad and my middle brother in Uncle Tom. The girls seemed to enjoy the extra attention.
Katrina and Zoey check out one of the small boats to see if it's something Uncle Tom would like. They heard he likes to fish.
Katrina quickly caught on where the drivers seat is. She looks like a natural.
What a nice visit - hopefully next year we'll have our bigger boat to motor down and test out Uncle Tom's fishing skills. The girls are looking forward to it.

14 Months and Feeding Myself

Yesterday the girls turned 14 months! Hard to believe, seems like just yesterday we were bottle feeding them all EVERY 4 HOURS! Now look at them - so big, so beautiful, so awesome - we are SO BLESSED! Maybe a little messy still - but we're gettin' there!
