Prayers for Isabella

In my earlier posts I shared about "help in all sizes"

During her visit, her mommy shared a health concern with us.
We got word this weekend that my pint sized friend here is in need of serious prayers.
I'm not at liberty to tell you what is up - but I will say it could be life altering.
If you could please take a moment and pray for our friend - her family would greatly appreciate it!

Big Brother has a chip on his shoulder

Josh was home this weekend... the girls were literally all over him! Can't you see how much he LOVES being a big brother!

Dinner ON the beach!

After our trek to the park earlier in the day... we decided to take the girls to the beach for dinner.
We grabbed our meal at Demitrios - and thought we'd use the our coffee pot to heat water to warm bottles... That's were the adventure began!
Luckily the restaurant gave Ryan some hot water - for the coffee pot blew the fuse in the inverter rendering us useless for warming their dinner.

Every time we venture out we learn something new.
Our last beach trip we realized we needed pillows to prop the girls while feeding IN the car.
We're no longer sideways - we're better prepared for our next adventure....

We not only have pillows - we bought a thermos that holds water hot for up to 24 hours.
Who knows where we'll go next!

Manasota State Park

On April 4, we decided to venture out for some exercise.
It was the girls first visit to a park.
We needed a place to go that we could walk that wouldn't have many people.
The park up the road led way to our adventure.
It had a beautiful 200+ acre lake.
And a nice bench under a shade tree to rest.

Help in ALL sizes

March 27 my girlfriend Stephanie popped in for a quick visit.
She is a proud mom of 7 - her youngest - Isabella is pictured in the middle next to one of her classmates.
This little ladies mom is a Nanny - so her skills come natually from her mum.
Stephanie is glowing - getting in a much needed baby fix!
Isabella is still new to this whole feeding thing - but quickly catches on with her moms expert help.
Steve our friend from Michigan could use some lessons from Isabella. We were all cracking up on the way he was holding the baby AND the bottle.
Steve's wife Karen is camera shy.
She too came for a baby fix - their visit was on March 25th.
It was nice to see all of them - the girls really enjoyed their company too!

Ingenuity Train

Ryan's mom is the yard sale queen.
She picked up an extra swing for the girls before they were born.
However... it didn't work - even with fresh batteries.
So out of desperation, Ryan rigged a bungy cord to our new one...
A train was born and the kids are happy!

Who Dunit?

Did Zoey Frame Abigail?
OR
Is Abigail a Thief??
HELP SOLVE THE MYSTERY!
We have been laughing for weeks. Abigail always seems to have Zoey's binky.. or in this photo her Wabanub or Wubby. Even in the wee hours this a.m. for their feeding, lights are low, trying to let the girls know - eat and then back to bed... I'm lookin' all over for Zoey's binky - I just had it... Ryan is holding Abigail and didn't even notice she swiped it from Zoey as he picked her up.
Then... later today, I hear fussing with those two again - but I witness Zoey pushing her binky over to Abigail. You can see from Abby's face she didn't want to be framed.

And we thought they'd only be fighting over clothes and boys!
